Beyond the sense of comfort and familiarity that this scene shows, I sense something like longing. There is a wonder there, and both the wide eyed wonder of finding the answers and the calm undeniable presence of things that just are; whether you understand them or want them, or not. The cat has long been held as a Seer of both worlds, a being who is neither good nor bad, a Seer of the Dead and ageless Keeper of the Door to the Otherworld. There is a heaviness here; a feeling of many spirits, of many beings passing and all witnessed by a single set of eyes. Many loves and companions all leading to "the one" that is just somehow more special than those who came before them. An agelessness that oversees; a Guardian awaiting for some secret; a Watcher waiting for some sign.

In the fire is the Understood and yet the Mystery. A deep and potent longing. Something overseeing, a presence past and yet still here, felt in those that remain just as the things close can share the flames warmth. Wisdom and innocence; a quest for both understanding and answers and a dawning of deep contemplation that is just beginning to understand the depth of the ever used phrase that "everything happens for a reason." And the one that remains behind to watch and wonder, with eyes far older than the body whom harbors them.

A beautiful piece, well executed and formed and the lighting effects are especially fantastic. A wonderful Free-Draw and lovely creation.

If anyone wants a better idea of what I mean when I mention my -daily- pain; READ THIS so I won't have to repeat myself. x.x

*A very painful, sad truth...Because I don't have the guts to write this again in detail; I'm going to play chicken-shit and just copy what I wrote to *Aveilthe via text (minus my spelling errors hopefully) when I got back from the appointment.

Me: Didn't know I had a fever...101...that's disturbing...docs running late so stuck in this small exam room...hate this.
*Aveilthe: I'm here. Talk to me. I hope you don't have to wait too long.
(Doctor comes in, about an hour and a half passes.)
Me: ...I have a bone trying to come out of my skin by the little toe of my right foot...its a bone issue seen in 60+ year olds...and my sores..? (Sores is referring to the skin lesions/ulcers) Made worse by the humidity of Indiana...and are a sign of my body breaking down...
Me: ...there's nothing they can do for me...I'm basically being kept "comfortable" until it along with my other conditions, kill me.
Me: I'm fucking 29 y

I don't know what I'd so without you amazing, beautiful souls. You've help me through so much; especially during these last few months. Life may have robbed me of a blood family, but you're the sisters I always wanted; the confidants and companions. You mean more to me that words or art could ever express. I am still around in large part thanks to you. I love you.}
